Saba Taj is a queer Muslim artist and activist based in Durham, North Carolina who earned her Masters in Fine Art from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016.  An interdisciplinary artist, her work explores hybrid identity, inherited trauma, and revolution through radical imaginings.  Taj is a founding member of INDY Arts Award winner Durham Artists Movement, an arts collective that promotes connections between Arts and Activism. Her art and activism has been featured on NPR, the Huffington Post, the Guardian, and Mic.com.
